Road trip started....looking excited

Love those tunnels :-)

Yes - people really do need these instructions!

Beginning of our walk up to Kleine Scheidegg

Translation...."Stand Closer! It is not as long as you think..." - found in the mens loo of course!

Near the top - this is where you get the train to the Top of Europe

Wengen and Lauterbrunnen below

Well....we did work hard for it....

View from our balconies

Starting our trip to the top of Europe

On the Sphinx observatory

Sphinx observatory - with the moon creeping over its shoulder

Penny loves her snow angels!

Happy couple!

The intrepid explorer conquers a set of metal steps

Penny is actually pointing at the Sphinx observatory - just on the end of her finger!

The ice sculptures

Penny making friends in town

More balcony shots...(end of course, the Eiger)

Good food, good company, good surroundings. Doesn't get much better than this.

The view of the mountain that evening. Took it as it reminded me of a piece of steak, medium-rare.

Parkhotel Schoenegg. Great place - thoroughly recommend it.

View from our room

Start of another walk - this time through the Lauterbrunnen valley and a stop at the Trummelbach Falls

Quick pic of the cars - rude not to

Location, location, location....

Like a pig in.....

I think the TVR is checking out the Beamer...

We found a metallic had to brake by pulling on the lever...

...but Ben didn't and fed his need for speed. Acquired a 'bit of a bruise' on the arm in the process (ouch).

Kate did a grand job of riding this one-handed to record the trip on the camera!

The guy who lives here really has a hang-up about neighbours

Stopped off at Spiez on the way home and messed about on Lake Thunersee

What a fantastic holiday - shame they have to end.
